As we step into 2025, I want to take a moment to reflect on the extraordinary journey we’ve shared and express my heartfelt gratitude to each of you.
At Women in Digital Switzerland (WDS), our mission has always been to empower and uplift women in the digital economy in Switzerland, and it’s because of your unwavering support that we continue to thrive.
Celebrating 2024 Milestones
In 2024, we celebrated remarkable achievements that reaffirmed the strength of our community. With over 18,000 members and allies, supported by a passionate team of 50 volunteers across 8 chapters, we organized more than 35 inspiring events. These gatherings not only provided platforms for learning, connection, and innovation but also reinforced the impact of our collective efforts in advancing opportunities for women.
Our partnership with and support from organizations, large and small, along with impactful collaborations and workshops, have enabled WDS to make meaningful strides forward. We also addressed unique challenges faced by women in the workforce, such as navigating longer careers, fostering generational diversity, tackling burnout, and enabling successful career transitions.
The dedication and passion of this community are palpable in the stories of change and growth shared by our members, from new roles and promotions to increased confidence and connections. These moments of transformation fuel our commitment to redefining the landscape.
Looking Ahead to 2025
As we chart our path forward, 2025 promises to be a year of growth, innovation, and deeper impact. We are expanding our focus to include critical topics such as upskilling and reskilling, modern leadership, tech and AI opportunities, and cultural competency. By addressing these areas, we aim to equip women with the tools they need to lead in a rapidly evolving digital economy.
This year, our event calendar is already filling up with activities designed to spark conversation, foster collaboration, and drive change. Together, we’ll continue to create spaces where every member feels empowered to lead, innovate, and succeed.
