For our first ever Women in Digital Switzerland event in Bern, we will be hosting a panel on the future of work. 

The future of work is undergoing a profound transformation as technology continues to reshape the nature of jobs and the skills necessary for success. Advancements in automation, artificial intelligence, and digitalization are creating new opportunities and challenges in various industries, requiring individuals to adapt and acquire new skills to remain competitive and relevant in the evolving job market.

About Bettina

Bettina Hirsig is the co-founder and lead at Powercoders, a coding academy and job integration program for refugees and migrants in Switzerland. With that, the team of Powercoders addresses two issues: the integration of highly qualified refugees and migrants struggling to gain a foothold in the job market, and the shortage of IT specialists. Powercoders has trained around 250 people so far, over 60% of whom are now employed in permanent positions within the IT industry in Switzerland. Bettina is passionate about social entrepreneurship and has a background in business and marketing.

About Ketaki

Ketaki Sood is an experienced HR professional with an international background in Organizational Change Management, Global Project Management, Talent Management, Learning, and Business Partnering. She has held positions of increasing responsibility across various industries including Manufacturing, Pharma, and Consumer goods in EMEA, Asia and now also the US. Ketaki is well-versed in Agile HR practices and deeply passionate about fostering the development and growth of individuals. She is often recognized for her work in diversity belonging and inclusion, fostering gender parity and raising empathy in her organisation.
